HF Open House

Talk-in Frequency 145.11, PL 88.5

Are you ready to jumpstart your journey into the world of HF? Have you been wanting to enjoy those HF privileges but don’t know where to start? Maybe you’ve been doing HF for awhile now but have questions. Well, worry no more! On November 12th, TARC will be hosting the first-ever HF Open House. This event is geared towards all Hams who are looking to expand (or establish) their knowledge of all things HF and will be the beginning of a series that will build on itself and is aimed at teaching HF in depth. Topics will be presented in an easy-to-understand format and presenters will not assume the audience has any prior knowledge of the subject matter being discussed. So, if you are a beginner, this is the perfect opportunity to get all of your questions answered!

We have a full day of events planned. The schedule can be found below. If you are interested in attending, please send an e-mail to Ian at kc9thi@gmail.com. This is to get a head count for the coffee, orange juice and donuts we will have for the morning session. We look forward to welcoming you to the first-ever HF Open House on November 12th at 8 am in room 3140
of Keplinger Hall at the TU campus.
