We had four people check in after locating Beethoven the Fox. For two hours he was transmitting a poorly executed version of Ode to Joy. Lucky for the listeners it was only for 25 seconds followed by 35 seconds of silence.
The hunt ran from 12PM – 2PM. The fox was located at:

There was a two hour start delay because the the amount of rain at the place the fox was going to be located. Radar indicated that the rain would be clear after 11:30. I made the decision to delay. I apologies to those that could not hunt because of the change.
During the delay I decided to run a quick test of the fox on a simplex frequency. It would not activate (DTMF). I had to run home and reprogram the fox circuit board. The configuration was corrupted. Lucky break for me. Lesson learned. The fox circuit will loos config it is sits without power for too long.
To those that missed out, I am am sorry about the delay.
