ARRL Opposes The Use of 430-440 MHz For Satellite Communications

AST & Science, LLC has filed a request with the FCC for authorization to
use 430-440 MHz for a constellation of 248 satellites to communicate
with ground stations for the alleged purpose of telemetry, tracking and
command.

The ARRL absolutely opposes AST’s request to use our allocated
frequencies for a commercial use.

The ARRL has filed a formal response with the FCC requesting that the
FCC deny AST’s request to use 430-440 MHz. The response can be found

It is still possible to file comments until August 5, 2025.
