The March 17th National Weather Service Stormspotter training was cancelled by TAEMA (Tulsa Area Emergency Management Agency) just a few days before the scheduled date so we put together a quick replacement program for our regular club meeting at Tulsa University…Back to the Basics! We had about 25 in attendance and we answered questions and discussed topics such as POTA logging programs, DMR,  Parks on the Air, a new DMR net, the NanoVna, and the Green Country Hamfest. It is with a heavy heart… That I must report the passing of Richie Shroff, W5OKL. Many of you knew Richie as a longtime club member, Green Country Hamfest committee member, and just an all around great ham friend. He edited the TARC newsletter and website for many years as well. He will be missed, and it’ll be hard to fill those shoes…. RIP Richie! 2025 was a tough year due to the loss of some great hams! ―Mark, WA5MA First things first… At the last TARC Monthly meeting Andrew, W5AWS, our new Parliamentarian, asked whether there were any nominations for club officers for the new year from the floor to contest the incumbent club officers―nothing heard. W5AWS asked for a motion to approve all the current officers for 2026: Ed, W1PN, so moved; Robert, KI5WDD, seconded; and those present at the meeting approved the motion by acclamation, there were no dissenting voices.
