AST & Science, LLC has filed a request with the FCC for authorization to use 430-440 MHz for a constellation of 248 satellites to communicate with ground stations for the alleged purpose of telemetry, tracking and command. The ARRL absolutely opposes AST’s request to use our allocated frequencies for a commercial use. The ARRL has filed a formal response with the FCC requesting that the FCC deny AST’s request to use 430-440 MHz. ARRL Files Comments to Protect 70-Centimeter Amateur Band
07/22/2025 ARRL The National Association for Amateur Radio® has filed comments with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to oppose part of an application that would impact the 70-centimeter amateur band for telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) of satellites. Think of Zones as a collection of frequencies that you pick. If you chose to use the Roaming part this is where you would add as many frequencies into your zone.
