Licensed radio operators (often called “Hams”) spend the weekend practicing community outreach\, emergency preparedness\, and technical skills. It’s basically radio heaven. \nA contest is held each year with individuals\, clubs\, and teams trying to make contact with as many stations as possible over 24 hours. Field Day will take place on June 28 and June 29 with over 35\,00 people expected to take part. It begins at 18:00 UTC Saturday and runs through 20:59 UTC Sunday. Pack your camping equipment\, throw up some temporary antennas\, and spin the dials on your radio\, because this not-to-be-missed event is rich in history\, tradition\, and technology. \nAll hams or non-hams are invited and you don’t have to be a club member to participate. The staff will assist you in getting on the air and teach you how to operate. You don’t have to be licensed to operate. \nRSVP – https://w5ias.com/2025/05/01/field-day-rsvp/\nTARC Planning\nOperating Status: 7AOK\nMax Output: 100W \nSafety Officer: K5TZS David Griffon \nHydration/Safety:**********************************\nFREQ/Filter Coordinator: This year will be handled at the INFO Booth\nGOTA Station Lead:K5AEB Ann Bruun\nGOTA Station: WW0CJ\, CJ Pokowitz\nPOTA: KD5SMF\, Mark Roberts\nInfo Booth: **********************************\nRules Specialist: KC9THI Ian Duncan\nTrailer Chief: KF5VCQ Steve Childers\nCW Specialist: KY5VAR Ky Vargas\nDigital Modes: AE5ME Jeff Scoville\nLogging Setup: W5GGW Greg\nLogging Support: KG5GJ Brain Powers & KD5DBP  Doug Powers\nPhotos : **********************************\nResident Elmer: KA6DOY Remell Spencer\nCooling Station Courtesy : KA6DOY Remell Spencer\nW1AW Bulletin: AE5ME Jeff Scoville\nNTS Message: AE5ME Jeff Scoville \nSchedule of Events\n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nGazebo Map\n \n  \nParking\nAs with previous years do not park in the main row in front of the covered gazebo.
